Naan Sigappu Manithan

Vishal is aiming for a repeat of his "Pandiyanaadu", in terms of success at BO and gaining back his reputation of a bankable star. The onus is quite heavy on the actor cum producer of this movie. The title of superstar's 1985 blockbuster has been retained for this film taking into effect the theme of the movie.

NSM marks the third outing of Vishal - Thiru combo after two successful hits. Vishal has broken free from his usual image of an aggressive youngster in Pandiyanaadu and he hopes that the change in his characterization will find takers through his fans and audience.

The film surrounds around Narcolepsy, a rare disorder where the hero is subject to irregular sleep cycles. As we hear, director Thiru and his team have gone through extensive research on this subject before even commencing filming this movie, so its innovation at its best indeed.

The trailer has been well received by one and all, with Vishal's inability to cope up with sleep at times of extreme emotions such as sadness, anger, anxiety and happiness. The film, initially was supposed to be produced by Vishal with Jai in the original cast, however due to busy schedules, Vishal took up the actors hat apart from producing it as well. The film is due in ten days and has caused enough hype with all these tidbits, so a film to watch out indeed.

NSM also marks Vishal and Lakshmi Menon's second film together after tasting reasonable success through pandiyanaadu. We can only hope their onscreen chemistry to sizzle yet again, thanks to GV Prakash's quirky music which is already being received well.

Vishal Film Factory and UTV motion pictures have jointly produced this movie, the marketing spree has already begun and with a powerful trailer, the team should have little to worry about its promotion.
