Naan Avanillai to release on April 20

Naan Avanillai is certainly talked about with high expectations in Tamil cinema.

The producer Jabak deserves every praise for deciding to remake this yesteryear classic as the story has all the right inputs to make a modern-day entertainer.

The film has intrigue, suspense, comedy, glamour and mass appeal ---- all the qualities that draw crowds to the theatres.

Directed by Selvaa, the film stars Jeevan in the lead. Jeevan plays an ‘expert’ womanizer. It is a role that Gemini Ganesan made it memorable in the original.

The highlight of course is the five heroines.

Sneha, Malavika, Jyothirmayi, Namitha and Keerthi Chawla are the five beauties.

When you have five heroines, the general belief is that there would have been some ego hassles and shooting troubles.

But Naan Avanillai has encountered no such problems.

In fact one of the talking points is the song that has been shot on the five heroines together.

It is the first song of the film and holds lot of attraction, says the producer.

Selvaa, who is a very smart director when it comes to whipping up the right masala, has beautifully shot the five heroines together in one song.

The audio of the film will release in the first week of April. The movie will hit the theatres on April 20, says Jabak.

The film has got the right momentum and a good trade talks.

On the face it, we seem to be sitting on a big winner.
