Rajinikanth made news recently for all the wrong reasons when he stated that the Sterlite protests turned into violence because of the infiltration of anti social elements who supposedly incited police by attacking them.

The general notion in political circles is that Rajini should have let known to everybody about such anti-social elements if he had known earlier. Rajini has been receiving flak from various political personalities including Stalin and Sarath Kumar as well.

Meanwhile Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinated by Seeman had planned to file a complaint against Rajinikanth stating that it was a crime to not divulge facts about anti-social elments with knowledge of the same. The social page of Naam Tamilar Katchi stated that the complaint would be filed at 12.45 pm at the Chennai DGP office. Watch this space for more updates.
