'Naachiyaar' amps up performance at TN the box office

National Award winning director Bala’s latest outing in ‘Naachiyaar’ hit the screens amidst great expectatios from film buffs and fans. The film featured G.V.Prakash Kumar, Jyothika and new talent Ivana essaying the lead roles receiving acclaim for the same.
Now, the film seems to have taken a upward trajectory in its Tamil Nadu box office earnings. In the last three days alone, ‘Naachiyaar’ has managed to score Rs.5.5 crore in profits in the state. Chennai reported Rs.1.02 crores profits, Chengalpattu gained Rs.1.57 crores, Coimbatore showed Rs.1.1 crores, Salem reaped Rs.26 lakhs and Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari regions managed a Rs.21 lakhs as profits.
