Bala's 'Naachiyaar' nears the 2 crore mark!

Director Bala's 'Naachiyaar' starring Jyothika, G.V.Prakash and Ivana hit the screens amidst a wide reception and lived upto the expectations as well. Particularly individual performances of the cast have been widely appreciated. Now it seems like the film has stepped successfully into its second week of box office collection in Chennai and surrounding regions.
As of last weekend, the film was screened at 18 theatres with 174 shows reaping in a collection of Rs.46,86,971. Moreover, it should be noted thatthe film was also able to maintain a crowd presence of 70 % in theatres into its second week.
The combined profits of the film from its release on February 16 to February 25 is Rs.1,97,94, 215. It is also worth mentioning here that the film is almost inching the 2 crore mark and expected to accomplish it this week.
