'Naa Peru Surya' hit the screens today amid high expectations.  The film made a whopping pre-release business of Rs. 111.87 crores (all sources) and the producers are a happy lot.  However, its distributors know that the actioner has to become the biggest hit in Allu Arjun's career.  

Our ground reports suggest that the audiences have thoroughly enjoyed Surya's devil-may-care attitude and fights in the first half.  The first 30 minutes presents most of the high-voltage moments witnessed in the Teaser.  As such, their recall value is high.  Sections of audiences have been reminded of Mahesh Babu's temperamental attitude in 'Businessman'.  

Many feel that this attitude should have been an undercurrent throughout the film.  Lack of action in the climax is getting a mixed response.  Among the actors, it seems only Allu Arjun is garnering all the accolades to the exclusion of others, including Arjun Sarja.  

The sub-plot involving Sai Kumar leads to some unforeseen consequences for Surya.  Many feel the story was not expected to go on those lines.

The songs are found getting a mixed response.  And here too, Bunny is seen as the one-man army.
