Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Naa Nuvve', NTR was proud of his brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
"I am seeing the same kind of tension I had suffered three years ago before the release of 'Nannaku Prematho'. In terms of my get-up in the movie, it was different from what I had donned in my previous films. So, there was this doubt as to whether my look would be accepted," he began saying.
The 'Jai Lava Kusa' actor then said, "Playing stereotypical roles doesn't give satisfaction either to the actor or the audience. More than the commercial result, the respect he earns is more important. Kalyan anna is clearly tensed today. Thappadu, anna! Our audience and our fans are large-hearted. They recognize genuine effort. 'Naa Nuvve', I am sure, will definitely work big-time. Kalyan anna saying that he will talk about this movie for 2 hours after its release shows how confident he is. He has excelled in this film."
"The success of this film will encourage Kalyan anna to continue to experiment in future," he added.
"I appreciate director Jayendra sir for having the guts to show an actor the way he was never portrayed before. He has really accepted the challenge. Thanks a lot for believing in my brother. Thanks for showing him the way I have always wanted to do see," he commented.
"'Naa Nuvve' is one of the best compositions from music director Sharreth. He will go a long way. PC Sreeram garu has done a wonderful job. I appreciate the producers (Kiran Muvvavarapu, Vijay Vattikuti and Mahesh Koneru) for being gutsy enough to take up this project. Only when the producers are confident can a film like this be made. I pray that this film becomes a milestone in their careers," he signed off.
