After the shocking Kerala actress abduction in a moving car incident, here's yet another blackmailing incident in the Malayalam Cinema industry. The Kerala police have arrested a popular production executive named Kiran Kumar from Ottappalam based on a complaint filed by Malayalam actress Mythili after he posted derogatory images of hers on social media. Kiran has been booked under sections 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 66 (A) of the IT Act.

According to reports, Mythli and Kiran were friends since 2008. Kiran who is already married befriended the actress by hiding the fact. Mythili ended their friendship as soon as she came to know the truth. After their friendship ended, things took turn for the worse and Kiran started blackmailing the actress demanding money from her, by threatening to upload sensitive photos of the actress from their time they were together. Kiran who stayed true to his word uploaded the images on social media and soon it spread virally. This led Mythli to approach the police and filed a complaint. The police team is investigating if there are more people involved in the issue.
