It was recently said that director Mysskin, who had been directing Thupparivaalan 2, the sequel of his 2017 hit thriller Thupparivaalan starring Vishal and Prasanna has opted out of the movie due to budget related conflicts with Vishal who is also producing the movie.

As reported by a daily, Vishal has confirmed that Mysskin is out of Thupparivaalan 2 and that Vishal himself will be directing the rest of the movie. It had been said that after the completion of the first schedule, Mysskin wanted 40 crores more than the discussed budget for the second schedule and that this lead to the conflicts.

Responding to the popular daily on the budget related conflict, Mysskin has sarcastically said that he did not ask for 40 crores but for 400 crores and that after completing 50% of the movie in 100 crores, he wants 100 crores more for the remaining movie, and for the climax were Vishal will jump from satellite alone he wants 100 crores and hence totally he wants 400 crores for Thupparivaalan 2.
