Director Mysskin’s last outing ‘Thupparivalan’ starring Vishal and Prasanna as a Tamil version of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson was well received by both critics and the general audience. He had announced a film starring Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Nithya Menen and Sai Pallavi but for some reason it did not take off.
Mysskin has moved on to another project starring Udayanidhi Stalin and Aditi Rao Hydari as the lead pair while director Ram and Nithya Menen play pivotal roles. Veterans Ilayaraja and P.C. Sreeram are handling the music and the camera respectively. The latest report is that the project has been titled ‘Psycho’ which is also the title of Alfred Hitchcock’s all time great movie released in the year 1960. The film produced by Double Meaning Productions will go on floors before the end of this month and the rest of the cast and crew details will be available soon.
