The second film of the year to complete 50 days is ‘Myna’. The previous one was ‘Charminar’ and the one in the queue is ‘Simple Agi Ondh Love Story’. Last November released historical film ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayannna’ has reached to Silver Jubilee.

‘Myna’ has got critical acclaim and heading for 75 days starring Chetan Kumar, Nithya Menon, Sarath Kumar, Suman Ranganath and others was top in its cinematography work from Sathya Hegde. Nagashekhar is bent upon the film ‘Myna’ to complete 100 days. This would make him the hat trick director as his previous films ‘Aramane and Sanju Weds Geetha’ completed 100 days screening.

A get together party for 50 days of ‘Myna’ was held on Saturday afternoon at Citadel Hotel in Bangalore. Technicians of the film and Chetan Kumar representative from artists’ team were present.

Producer NS Rajakumar has made it very clear that ‘Myna 2’ would start only when promise comes from Nagashekar on cutting down the expenditure. According to sources Nagashekar ‘Myna’ has not yet returned the investment of over Rs.6.5 crores.

The happiness of Nagashekhar is for ‘Myna’ running in 50 days in more number of theatres compared to his previous ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’. In Bangalore, Mysore and Davanagere he is confident of 100 days.

Happiness was evident on the face of actor Chetan Kumar and distributor Basha was happy for the response the film got in the last 50 days of screening.
