After the disastrous performance of Akhil at the BO, Akkineni Akhil has been very making cautious moves. He has only been receiving additional attention from his dad. As Nagarjuna himself has said, he is more involved with Akhil's second movie.

In an interview to a national daily, Akhil has admitted that his second movie is going to be a rom-com set in an urban backdrop. He took to Twitter to say that Mythri Movies is not going to produce his next. "I don't know where you websites get your info from. My second film was never supposed to be produced under Mytri banner. False info. It would be nice if you confirmed before spreading false info to people. This goes unsaid but I guess it has to be spelled out for you guys," he said.

The writers are done with the scripting work. The film will go on the floors sometime in June.
