The title speaks for itself in the film ‘My Name is Amrutha’ starring Baby Gayathri in the title role. The main cast consists of Keerthi, Bhanu Priya and Bhanu Chandar. The film is being produced by Venkat Gauni on S. Entertainment Tax banner. Debutant director Anthony is making the film which is based on the emotional trauma of a child named Amrutha.

Post production work is being done at present for the film. The movie throws limelight over the attitude of contemporary generation which is filled with selfishness, inhumane, lacks affection and compassion towards one another.

In a first step to spur the feelings in the hearts, the story has been designed in a way from the first person view of a child and it’s feelings towards the society filled with misdeeds. It’s an attempt to provoke sensible thoughts in the minds of audience and prove their past misconceptions wrong, say the makers.

The movie will be completed and is being planned for a February release.

The story has been written by Murali Bodapati and cinematography is by Thota Venkataramana. Lyrics have been penned by Ravi while Anthony handles the screenplay and direction.
