Megastar Chiranjeevi has spoken to a magazine owned by his daughter-in-law, Upasana Kamineni. Getting candid, he shared a lot of things in the interesting chit-chat.
Talking about his father, the legendary actor said that he was a great actor. "My father was an amazing actor, who was a part of the cultural wing of the Communist Party in his youth. He was seen in a few films in the late 1960s in small roles. This happened with the support of his friends. I was too young at that time. He would come home and share his experience of being on the same set as actors like SV Ranga Rao garu and Rao Gopal Rao garu. I guess it's because of his descriptions that I developed an inkling for acting even as a kid," Chiru says.
He reveals that he is more into vegetarian food these days. "I didn't follow any diet regimen when I was young and middle-aged. Given my age, I have started to consume more and more protein. My craving for non-veg food has come down these days. There was a time when fish and prawns were my things," he adds.
