Darshanam Mogilaiah has received the Padma Shri honour. We have spoken to the Kinnera exponent from Telangana and learned about his feelings.
In his interaction with IndiaGlitz, the exponent profusely thanked Pawan Kalyan. "After I sang a song in 'Bheemla Nayak', my name spread to various parts of the Telugu States. I received a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh from Pawan Kalyan sir," he said.
Mogilaiah also thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for including his name in a Class VIII textbook. "I have received rewards as well as financial assistance. I am thankful to the government," he added.
"I have been receiving calls from various quarters. Pawan sir has been busy and I will be meeting with him soon. I will thank him and express my feeling of being honoured about getting to work for his movie. My children are happy with the fame I have earned after 'Bheemla Nayak'. The Padma Shri is the biggest honour for me," Mogilaiah said.
The talent added, "I don't watch movies. That's why I am not aware of music directors and all."
