'My Dear Bootham' locks OTT release date

'My Dear Bootham', starring Prabhudeva as a genie, has locked its OTT release date. Directed by N Raghavan of Kollywood, the comedy entertainer with fantasy elements will hit ZEE5 on Sept 2. The film is going to stream in Telugu and Tamil, besides a couple of other languages. It's in the kids' fantasy zone and the audience are expected to enjoy it on OTT.
Starring Ramya Nambeesan as the mother to the child protagonist, the fantasy comedy is produced by Abhishek Films' Ramesh P Pillai. With music and cinematography by D Imman and UK Senthil Kumar, respectively, 'My Dear Bootham' also Samyuktha, Imman Annaachi, Suresh Menon, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Ashwanth, Param Guhanesh, Saathvik, Sakthi and Kaesitha.
The film didn't do well in theatres when it was released in Telugu. Prabhudeva's performance was praised, but the basic plotting of the film turned down the audience's interest. Moreover, July was full of flops and not many were interested to visit theatres during the month.
