Not many know that Regina Cassandra has an important role in Vishal's upcoming techno-thriller 'Chakra'.  Directed by MS Ananda, this Telugu-Tamil film deals with online e-commerce frauds and other such scams.  A masked mafia man is seen in the film's recently-released trailer.

Speaking to a daily, Regina has said that she has done action scenes in the movie.  "They will catch the audience by surprise," the 'Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham' actress said.  The makers have not revealed anything about the 'AWE' actress' role in the movie.

'Jersey' and 'Krishna And His Leela' heroine Shraddha Srinath and Srushti Dange are part of the cast.  Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is by Balasubramaniam. Bankrolled by Vishaal Film Factory, the thriller also has Manobala and Robo Shankar in other roles.

The film's OTT release date is yet to be announced.
