Dayanand Reddy, the director of 'Siddhartha' (Sept 16 release), has been a member of Pawan Kalyan's creative team right since the days of 'Johnny'. "I started off assisting Kalyan sir for that movie and since then, I have learnt many valuable lessons from him. The way he sees a scene is very different. He details even about how the junior artistes have to behave in the background. He has had a thorough influence on my style. Naturally, his style will be seen in 'Siddhartha'", the director says.
He has told IndiaGlitz that he will some day make a film with Power Star. "I have access to Kalyan sir, which many don't have. But I will go to him only when I am convinced that the idea is big enough. Although I am confident that I can handle big stars, I want to reach that level incrementally. After 'Siddhartha', I am going to reach the next level. After that, I may go to Kalyan sir with a story. And that film will be befitting Kalyan sir's demigod image", Daya reveals.
Daya entered the film industry with the aim of becoming an actor. However, following his meeting with Pawan, Daya became his associate and has since worked for many movies, including the technically superb 'Panjaa'.
