Looks like it's a season not just of new-age directors, but also new-age producers. Only recently, Ram Charan turned into a producer and if early media reports are anything to go by, he is well on his way to encourage stories that are a cut above the rest. After the release of 'Khaidi No. 150', expect him to surprise with his choices of scripts.

If Pawan Kalyan's teaming up with Trivikram indicates anything, it's that he is out to fund new-age narrators like Krishna Chaitanya, often or otherwise.

The latest ones to turn producers in association with each other are Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya. While Chay unofficially shouldered the responsibility of the production activities of 'Oka Laila Kosam', he must also be looking at gaining from Rana's perspectives. Unlike Chay, Rana has greater exposure to technological innovations and also a knack for judging the scripts. Surely, Chay will learn a good deal from the Daggubati scion.

Notably, Charan, Rana and Chay are all from film families. That's why they are inclined to think like producers. And when they want to turn producers, they have the benefit of learning by observing, an avenue not open to most. In addition, they can plan collaborations, Bollywood-style. Another star producer son who has been much into the same is Abhiram, Rana's bro.
