At least since yesterday night, sections of media have been writing that Soundarya Rajinikanth is either going to or already file for divorce with her husband Ashwin, an industrialist. The duo have been married for about six years now and have a one-year-old kid, named Ved.

But is Soundarya mooting divorce? Has she filed for divorce? Here is what we have learnt from our well-placed sources.

When we got in touch with a source close to the family, we were informed that there is not only strain in the relationship, but also Soundarya and Ashwin have been living separately for some days now. However, the elders and friends have been urging the couple to save their marriage.

More importantly, we have learnt, Soundarya has not filed for divorce.
