How Allu Arjun repeatedly found fault with film critics after the release of 'Duvvada Jagannadham' is still fresh in our minds. On more than two occasions, Bunny said that the negativity of negative reviews can never affect him, as he is too positive to be defeated by unfavourable (our word) reviews.
It's now the turn of NTR to up the ante. Speaking at the success meet of 'Jai Lava Kusa', the actor explained the attitude of 'vimarshakulu' (critics) through an analogy.
"I want to tell you something. If I am wrong, forgive me. A patient is in an emergency situation. His family members are waiting outside (the operation theatre), tense as they are as to what might happen to him. They know that experienced doctors are going to decide the fate of the patient. That assurance is there. As they are waiting outside anxiously, some strangers are telling them that it's all over. One stranger says, 'Oh! If this is what happened to him, he is finished'. Another stranger says, 'He will die for sure'. In this story, the patient is a film. The family members are we, the makers. The doctors are audiences. And the strangers are critics," NTR said. (Note: NTR's word for critics is 'Dari lo poye danayyalu').
"We all are going to die someday. Only a few are going to be remembered. Why pre-judge things? Let the 'doctors' decide it. If the 'patient' is gone, we will accept the verdict. This is a democracy. Everybody has the right to express opinions. But it shouldn't kill someone else's dreams and hopes. If what I have said is offending to someone, please forgive me," the actor said.
