A Muslim girl Suhana Syed two devotional songs on Hindu gods in Zee Kannada Saregamapa -13` as one of the contestants has earned very good response for her from judges Vijayaprakash, Arjun Janya and Rajesh Krishnan. Art has no caste, creed, religion and boundary is what the trouble shooters are not able to understand. In the social media there has been wide spread comments and some of them are supporting Suhana too.

A Mangalore Muslims page has attacked Suhana for tarnishing Muslim community by singing in front of men. There are people who learnt Quran in five months and recited it. You have not achieves a great feat it says. Your parents have encouraged you to show your beauty to other men, they will not go to heaven because of you. Please give up the pardah that you are wearing as you don`t respect it.

The singing fraternity in Karnataka and Mumbai is supporting Suhana for her talent. It is not right to express opposition for such singer says Saleem Sulaiman. Do not attach Dharma to music. As a singer I have delivered Bhajans, Ganesha Stuthi, devotional songs says Hindi singer Sulaiman.

One of the legendary writers in Kannada Prof KS Nissah Ahmed has also strongly condemned the attitude of protests. They have to first study Quran and Shariat. The legend Bismilla Khan Bharat Rathna award winner recited the Shahanai in front of Kashi Vishwanatha temple, Mohammad Rafi, Parveen Sulthana, AR Rehman have done tremendous success in music.
