Music is the best medicine in the world what the authors have told. Now siblings Dr Rakesh (playback singer in Kannada cinema) and his sister Priyanka (who is soon becoming a doctor) with ancestral roots from Dr Gangubhai Hanagal the famous Hindustani singer jointly lent voice for the first Kannada music album Nenapali that has nine songs.
This musical album with melody was released by super power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Raghavendra Rajakumar at Nayana auditorium in Bangalore.
Dr Rakesh and Priyanka are children of Dr John Ebnezer and Dr Parimala Devi. It was Dr John Ebenezer with some world record in his kitty in the orthopedic division who treated Dr Rajakumar of knee ailment. He is associated with Dr Rajakumar family for a long time.
That made the siblings to come to the audio release but it was two months wait for the audio album release because Dr Rakesh is fond of Power star Puneeth Rajakumar. He wanted only Puneeth Rajakumar to release the album with Raghavendra Rajakumar as chief guest. That wish has been fulfilled a few days ago.
Puneeth Rajakumar saluted the ability of Dr Rakesh and Priyanka as they have good ability despite of studying for graduation in medicine. Raghavenda Rajakumar addressing the gathering disclosed melody is gift of God. That has come to Rakesh and Priyanka.
Dr Rakesh as a child singer lent his voice in Kannada films Anuraga Sangama, Arashina Kumkuma, Veerappa Nayaka, Rangoli, Ulta Pulta and others. He studied music under Pandit Seshadri Gavai and Smt Manjula Gururaj. He has given plenty of solo programs and conferred the Gana Praveena by New York Kannada Sangha in 2000 November.
Kumar Priyanka on the way to complete the medicine from Father Mullers Medical College in Mangalore is younger sister of Dr Rakesh is trained under Pandit Nagaraja Naidu won many state level competitions. She got light music training under Smt Manjula Gururaj, BK Sumithra and Narahari Dixit.
The famous doctor couple Dr John Ebnezer and Dr Parimala Devi have conducted over 100 workshops at free of cost as part of the social service.
