Karthi's forthcoming political thriller, Sakuni, is set to release in the third week of June. Bellamkonda Suresh, the film's producer, announced that the audio release will be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on June 1. Directed by Shankar Dayal, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar.

Karthi has said that the film is coming out really well. "My characterization is really different. It has come out very well. I am happy that Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the movie", he added.

Suresh predicts that the film will be yet another hit for Karthi. "I am happy to be presenting this film to the Telugu audience. This film has everything for everyone."

Praneetha, Santhanam, Radhika are the least cast. Roja and Kota Srinivasa Rao have interesting roles cut out for them. Photography is by PG Mutthayya. Art is by Rajeevan. Fights are by Anal Arasu. Dances are by Prem Rakshit and Baba Bhaskar. Editing is by Srikar Prasad.
