The latest buzz over ‘Silanthi’ is that the music director Neil Mukherjee has quit the movie at the time when the movie is gearing up for the release. It is said that director Aadhiraj is not impressed with the rerecording by Neil Mukherjee and hence they have parted ways.

He is said to have expressed his dissatisfaction over the RR to Mukherjee and this has obviously made the musician feel bad. Following a discussion between the two, they decided to part ways.

Ironically, the director has been lavish in his praise on Neil Mukharjee. Even now he says that he is a talented music director. The difference of opinion on the work has resulted in separation, informs Aadhiraj.

Now the music department is taken over by M. Karthick, who scored music for hundreds of ad films including Lalitha Jewellery, and Kalyan Jewellery. The RR done by Karthick is said to have come out well. The Music director is also committed for a Malayalam movie titled ‘Malabar Mappillai’.

‘Silanthi’ is schedule to release by the first week of April.
