Actor Suriya in his early stages of career had acted in an action flick 'Sri'. T.S.Muralidharan had composed music for that film released in 2002. Now Muralidharan not only changed his name as Ramanathan KB but has also changed his department in film industry. He has turned a director and has finished a film with just two actors.

The film titled as 'Vindhayadi Naanunakku' is touted to be a psychological thriller. It has only two actors in the entire film. It deals with two people who are united by love but differ in perspectives and way of life. Both of them are extremely stubborn and would dare to do anything to prove their point right. Ramanathan himself as acted in the film along with a Sowra Syed a debutante female artist.

The film has been entirely shot in Kodaikanal.Vivek Narayanan has done the musical score and the film has only one song. Vivek has composed a westernized tune for 'Paayum Oli Nee Enakku' a popular song of Mahakavi Bharathiyar. and that will be featured in the film. The title of the film has been drawn from this famous song. Rajesh Katamkot has handled the cinematography.
