Kollywood is in shock as a young music director Navin Shankar passed away tragically on Sunday (October 31st) night. He is said to have become suddenly ill and when rushed to the hospital it was found that he had suffered a blood clot in his brain.The illness is not related to COVID 19 as his tests had come negative.

Navin Shankar has scored the music for the film 'Visiri' and has also done the background score for other films including the upcoming 'Un Kadhal Irunthaal' starring Srikanth and Chandrika Ravi.

Navin Shankar apart from his music career is said to have been actively involved in social activities in his residential area in Villivakkam and friends are mourning his untimely demise on social media.
