Popular music director and friend passes away in freak road accident

A South Indian film music composer was returning to Chennai with his friends from Kerala when his car met with a freak accident and he along with another person died on the spot.
Music composer Dashi alias Sivakumar composed music for Tamil and Malayalam films. His Tamil films include 'Oththa Veedu', 'Adavar', 'Sathanai Payanam'. It is reported that Dashi aka Sivakumar (50) of Saligramam, Chennai was returning to homei from Kerala yesterday with his friends Tamil Adiyan (50), a resident of Australia, Nagaraj (44), a realtor of Avadi, and Moovendan (54), a film director of Puduppet. It is said that suddenly the tire of the car burst and the vehicle crashed into the road divider near Avinashi in Tirupur district.
The driver of the car Tamil Adiyan and Dashi died on the spot while Nagaraj and Moovendan were seriously injured and are being treated at the hospital. Notably, Dashi won the Kerala State Award for Best Music Composer for the Malayalam film 'Dandhara'. He has also composed music for thousands of devotional albums. The Tamil and Malayalam film industry is condoling the his unfortunate death on social media.
