Vikram Goud, who co-produced the 2012 hit 'Ishq', is currently undergoing treatment at Jubilee Hills' Apollo Hospital. He was hospitalized earlier today when he was allegedly fired upon by unidentified people at his Banjara Hills residence.

Goud, who is currently with the Congress Party, is the son of Mukesh Goud, who was a Minister in YS's government. When his wife discovered that her husband had been shot, she called the police and the victim was immediately rushed to the hospital. His shoulders and stomach have been affected.

In the light of contradictions between the statements of Vikram's wife and other sources, there is a suspicion that it might be a suicide attempt.

Although 'Ishq' was a big hit, Vikram has kept a low-profile with respect to the film industry.
