What is it all about?

The third installment of the popular series `Murder' by the most successful series developers of Bollywood Mahesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films (Murder, Raaz Jannat) in association with Fox Star Studios churns a riveting, probing and thrilling consideration of the extent of trust and mutual knowledge possible between a man and a woman.

Welcoming `Vishesh Bhatt' in his first helmer cap with feathers of emotion where he buttons the pants in `Murder 3' and seals some lips from the earlier avatars of `Murder' for unwanted erotica as he rolls the sleeve of the franchise 3rd installment for a decent psychological thriller treat at your nearest cinema seat.

The Story.. of course

The official adaptation of the Spanish thriller `The Hidden Face' (La Carca Oculta), Murder 3 gets some desi tadka from the writers Mahesh Bhatt, Hatem Khraiche and Amit Masurkar (additional screenplay) where a Spanish orchestra conductor turns a hot-shot fashion and wildlife photographer played by Randeep Hooda from the original and deals with the disappearance of his girlfriend Roshni (Aditi Rao Hydari) gets into a relationship with a waitress from a lounge, Nisha (Sara Loren). She moves in with him in his palatial house outside the city. The old world house, made decades ago, is stunning as well as terrifying. It holds a vital secret which Nisha soon unearths.

What to look out for

Though a franchise `Murder 3' stands out tall and has its own individuality.. Borrowing nothing from its previous avatars not even the `Bheege Hoth' song which appeared in part 2.. Vishesh Bahtt powers his launch vehicle on emotions and smart use of the definition of thrill which turn haunted to mysterious and dramatic in due course. Vishesh proceedings as the director has the stamp of Bhatt camp where the atmosphere and the characters get registered with the audience though they have shades of grey.. loaded with shock, surprise and edgy moments `Murder 3' is a clever introduction of Vishesh Bhatt as an helmer in bollywood.

Performance wise it's a tailor made role for Randeep and he excels.. Sara looks beautiful and Aditi is the one who walks the hall of fame as an actor in this film. Such movies need solid support from its background score and Raju Singh excels in his department. Sunil Patel's cinematography is eye pleasing. Devendra Murdeshwar editing is sharp. Production values are superb.

What not

Music has being a vital part in Vishesh Films and Pritam disappoints with his music though they look good while one is watching the film but there's not a single take home number. Agreed `Murder 3' is an official adaptation with smart indianisation but guys originality seriously needs a passionate hug.. Bhatt Camp lucky charm Emraan Hashmi will be missed..

Conclusion: `Murder 3' meticulously crafted probe on lust, love and zealously that rides on thrill, mystery with an haunted feel and is powered by genuine emotions. Worth a dekho..
