'Muran' tidbits

'Muran' that stars Cheran and Prasanna in the lead roles saw its audio launch recently and the event was truly a star-studded one, what with the presence of Ameer, SP Jananathan, Mysskin, Vijay, Parthipan, Bharath, Narain, Sibiraj and the cast and crew of the film along with Dhananjayan of UTV Motion Pictures.

During the release, two songs were screened along with the film's trailer.

Now the Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the film is inspired from a Hollywood classic, 'Strangers On A Train', by Alfred Hitchcock. This was one of the most popular Hitchcock's suspense and psychological thrillers, where two strangers plot a murder of a person who is causing trouble in their lives.

However, destiny has something else in store for them... Post this, expectations are raving even higher on the film due to the 'n' number of fans for Hitchcock's classics, who would love to see the magic repeat in Tamil.
