'Muran' from September 16!

'Muran' has seen a change in release date from September 1 to September 16!

'Muran' that is jointly produced by director Cheran's Dream Theatres and UTV Motion Pictures has Cheran and Prasanna under Rajjan Madhav's direction, the film will now hit the screens on September 16 as Ajith's biggie, 'Mankatha', will grace screens worldwide on August 31.


It is said that 'Muran' has been inspired from Alfred Hitchcock's 'Strangers On A Train' and will showcase how two strangers meet in a train, have a common enemy and decide to get rid of the enemy but all hell falls lose. Cheran will play a popular musician and Prasanna will be seen as a rich entrepreneur. The tunes for 'Muran' are by Sajjan Madhav the director's sibling.

Meanwhile, grapevine has it that two other films, 'Engaeyum Eppothum' and 'Masi' will also see a change in release date.
