Muralikrishna achiever against odds

A go getter in life is multi talented KR Muralikrishna younger brother of director Shantharam. At his 58th year KR Muralikrishna instead of continuing well driven profession of law is in the midst of masses to give a convincing film ‘Gara’. It is a huge court hall for KR Muralikrishna.

Knowing pretty well that he has to convince the mass audience has made wonderful preparation for his subject ‘Gara’ picking a short story of genius writer RK Narayan of English literature.

Accepting his ‘Gara’ cameraman HC Venu statement that he is the oldest newcomer KR Muralikrishna says his journey commenced in 1985. An engineering graduate teaching profession was showing interest in stage plays and films. It was a forgery case the 24 years young hot blooded Muralikrishna took up LLB. He argued his own case and got justice. He took up the film ‘Karnana Sampaththu’ with his brother Shantharam. To enter the cinema field as director he took up ‘Sanna Sathya’ gained some experience for his ‘Gara’ Kannada film.

KR Muralikrishna agrees that he is good at the court hall and profession was giving him good earnings. Direction what he continues from his brother was always haunting him.

What is ‘Gara’ all about? It is a narration of different emotions in social life. The positive and negative is there everywhere. It has vengeance, friendship, humor etc. We have Johny Lever and Sadhu Kokila on board as Jugari Brothers. This combination gives a message – money could be snatched in life but not the talent.

KR Muralikrishna roped in Saroj Khan for two of the songs in this film. Rehaman, Pradeep, Neha Patil, Avanthika, Ramakrishna, Roopa Devi, Manadip Rai and others are in the cast. When there is veteran like HC Venu, my work is simplified he says. I am the 16th newcomer for cameraman HC Venu. He is gem at work and attitudes he adds.

For the first time Aditya Aryan of Andhra Pradesh is in Kannada film as digital Gowda. He has learnt Kannada and then came before the camera for this film.

The surprise is still on from KR Muralikrishna. He has not disclosed who the producer of the film – the first media meet at The Bell Hotel he said media is in the producer seat for him. Before the release of the film I would definitely introduce the producer he pointed.
