In an upcoming movie which will star actress Vidya Balan in the lead role, Murali Gopy is lal set to portray her husband. The movie is a biopic on Kamala Suraiyaa aka Madhavikutty. Vidya plays the late author. Award winning director Kamal is directing the ambitious venture.

The movie is being made in Malayalam and English. Prithviraj is also expected to be part of the movie and he will play a narrator outside of the story. Vidya herself had announced the project and this came as a happy surprise for Kamal as he feels the actress' presence will lend more depth to the movie. The movie, which is perhaps the first of its kind of biopic on a woman is set to go on floors by October.
