Actor Arshad Warsi is best known for his iconic over the top campy characters and impeccable comic timing but in last couple years, he has proved that he has the skill required to play serious and dramatic roles as well. Arshad was recently seen in a segment of Amazon Prime Video's anthalogy 'Modern Love: Mumbai' and while talking about that in a recent interview, he shared an update on 'Munna Bhai 3'.
There have been several rumors about the production of 'Munna Bhai 3' in last few years but Arshad believes that the project is unlikely to happen. "Honestly, I don’t think Part 3 will happen. I wish it would, that we could have a proper closure. We owe that much to the audience, but it’s been too long," he told The Indian Express.
Talking about why it is impractical to carry on the story of Munna Bhai, Arshad said, "A creative person feels claustrophobic if he is asked to do the same thing over and over again. As an actor, I want to move on. I’m sure Raju (writer-director Rajkumar Hirani) wants to do different things too, more so because for a director each film takes a few years of his life."
