The sitting MLA and candidate for the 15th Karnataka Assembly from Rajarajeshwari Nagara segment, producer of Kannada cinema Munirathna Naidu is facing discomfort.

An FIR has been registered two days before the Assembly elections on Munirathna Naidu for finding thousands of Voter ID cards and pamphlets. The Election Commission has raised objection and in a late night raid it was noticed that 9896 Voter IDs were in possession of Munirathna Naidu.

Munirathna Naidu of Congress I blames BJP for such cooking up stories. It is an effort to defer the elections and damage his reputation says Munirathna Naidu.

According to sources the voter ID were found in Jalahalli apartment and FIR was registered on last Thursday – Munirathna Naidu is the 11th suspect in this case says election commission officer Manjunath.

At the SLV Apartment epic cards duplication 3 machines, 5 lap top, 9 mobile, pan card, ATM Card, Driving Licence, Visiting Cards, BBMP seal, 6342 applications, 20700 without BBMP seat and many other details were traced.
