Noted producer and sitting MLA Munirathna Naidu much hyped and lavish budget Kannada cinema ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ in the direction of Naganna has fetched Rs.9 crores Hindi dubbing rights according to sources.
As the shooting of ‘Kurukshetra’ from the point of Duryodhana is fast completing and heading for release in January next, the dubbing rights to Hindi language has come as big news. Initially it was asked for Rs.4 crores but after the trailer hit theatres in Karnataka the price have shot up to Rs.9 crores. According to another sources the other south Indian languages is likely to fetch Rs.20 crores for producer Munirathna Naidu.
‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ 50th film of challenging star Darshan stars Arjun Sarja, Dr Ambarish, V Ravichandran, Dr Srinath, Danish Sait (as Bheema), Ananthnag and many other top names in Kannada.
The budget of this film is expected to reach Rs.80 crores. The major shooting has been completed in Dr Ramoji Rao film city.
Another highlight of this ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ is that the film is made in 3D technology.
