Muni, directed by Larencce Ragava, went on to do a successful business at Kollywood. Starring Raj Kiran and Larencce in prominent roles, the movie produced by director Saran was different from the regular run-of-the-mill stuffs.

It was about a spirit that possesses the hero and how it helps him to fight against the criminals.

The latest buzz doing rounds in Tamil cinema is that Muni will go to Bollywood now. Following the likes of Ghajini and Pokiri, Bollywood producers have evinced keen interest to remake Muni in Hindi.

A prominent production house has decided to start the venture in Hindi and they have reportedly approached Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar to do the roles of Raj Kiran and Larencce respectively.
