Lawrence Raghavendra is brimming with joy. His directorial venture Muni is shaping up well for a early release in 2007.

Shooting a stunt sequence in Chennai recently, Lawrence Raghavendra said, "I am thankful to director Saran for giving me an opportunity to direct a movie in Tamil. It is a mega-budget movie in which everything is grand."

The movie stars Lawrence Raghavendra, Vethika and Raj Kiran in prominent roles.

Says Lawrence, "Muni is synonymous with spirits and ghosts. But my film will be a hilarious entertainer right from the word go. Though I am a choreographer-turned-actor, I have chosen to concentrate on action in the movie. In contrast, Raj Kiran will do the dancing."

"Saran has not compromised on the budget. We shot a couple of song sequences in huge sets erected in Chennai and plans are on to shoot the remaining songs abroad. The talkie portions are over," he added.

Lawrence Raghavendra is optimistic that people would welcome his new attempt on the big screen and make the movie a big hit.
