The battle at ballot boxes is taking place in Karnataka on May 12 for the 15th Karnataka State Assembly. As of now from the ruling Congress I party – four film personalities names have been confirmed in the 218 (of 224 seats) candidates list announced on Sunday evening by Karnataka Pradesh Congress I.
Dr Ambarish senior most in Congress I from Mandya, Umasri sitting Minister of Congress I government from Theredal, Munirathna Naidu producer of Kannada films from Raja Rajeshwari Nagara and Ashok Kheney, producer, actor and NICE company proprietor from Bidar South - names are listed in the 2018 Congress I candidates list.
The big expectation of actress Bhavana Ramanna falls flat. As Dr HA Shanmukhappa has been given ticket from Chitradurga from which Bhavana was expecting.
The candidates of other film personalities from other political parties will be out in a day or two. BJP and JDS is also packed with cinema personalities. Official list will be out soon.
