Mundaasupatti
Director Ram joins the list of short film makers entering the feature film industry. Filmmakers of this league either take up a new script for their maiden feature film or transform their successful short film as a full length feature film. Ram belongs to the second ilk by debuting in Ktown industry with `Mundasupatti' one of his successful short film with the same title. The film set in a period milieu is the first joint venture of C.V.Kumar who has introduced many young and talented filmmakers and artistes to the Tamil film industry through his Thriukumaran Entertainments banner and Fox Star Studios, the corporate production house which has some critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of the recent years in its bouquet. Actor Vishnu Vishal who has acted in some critically acclaimed film like `Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' and `Neerparavai' is playing the lead role in this flick. The chemistry between the lead pair is evident in the trailer and has raised expectation on the romance quotient as well. Kaali Venkat who has been gaining prominence as a comedy cym character artiste is playing a supporting role as Vishnu's friend in the flick and his inclusion can be expected to provide rollicking comedy. Music department has been handled by Sean Roldon who has proved his worth with his debut film `Vaayai Moodi Pesavum'.
