I will not vote for Snehan or Kamal's party - Mumtaz Exclusive Interview
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
Mumtaz is one contestant from the 'Bigg Boss' season 2 in Tamil who had a mixed bag as far as audience support is concerned. Till about the halfway mark she was projected as an elder sister or motherly figure but later she became slightly villified due to her headstrong attitude and was also allegedly partial to a few of her rivals. We caught up with Momo for an exclusive interview in which she has shared some shocking details about the former as well as the current contestants.
You were allegedly getting special treatment in the house....
" They allowed me to carry my holy book the Koran and due to my immunity being very low, got some medical supplies. Otherwise I like only bananas which was offered only once a week and I had to go without fruit for the rest of they days. Vegetables that I should not eat was what was available and I lived three months only on wheat dosai and tea. So be sure I did not get any special treatment whatsoever. (Gets angry) Speak after verifying your facts Mr. Vayapuri and Snehan, and the latter is a poet and he should have better knowledge and should have spoken honesty. May be he did not do so due to his contractual obligation and for money and if so I will not vote for him or the party he is going to stand for (Makkal Neethi Maiam).
Actress Harathy informed us that you cooked Parathas (which are tough) even though you were very ill...
"Yes it was the evening where even if I am in pain I can do it...even lunch and dinner is ok but breakfast I cannot as my hands will not have grip and I may drop the utensils or whatever I am holding."
How did you manage to treat everyone there as equal?
"Because in the eyes of God all are equal. Simple as that. I am a very staunch believer of Islam. In my young age as an actress I wore skimpy clothes but I did not know what I was doing as I was just a kid but now am grown and I just want to follow my religion which tells me all are equal.
We did see your hardwork on the show but apart from that what else was a struggle?
The biggest struggle was to make the contestants understand the urgent need for my medical supplies from my home every single day. People did not understand my morning stiffness which made me unable to function normally. But two three hours later I can do anything and did even wash clothes. Even when conducting tasks I never use to refuse to do them but adjust my methods according to my health condition. My daily struggle was that the contestants not understanding me used to try and convey to the audience that I am not doing my tasks."
Your crush on Kamal..
"Since my brother was and still is a hardcore Kamal fan we used to watch his films daily and sometimes even four films a day. Due to this I started having a crush on Kamal but it is just a harmless commonner's love for a star"
