After the grand success of "Page 3", Sahara-One Motion Pictures' latest undertaking is "Mumbai Xpress" starring south Indian veteran Kamal Haasan.

The hilarious entertainer revolves around fast life in a metro like Mumbai, and also features Manisha Koirala, Om Puri, Vijay Raaz and Saurabh Shukla in key roles.

The film is directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, whose previous teaming with Kamal Haasan, resulted in the tragicomic "silent" film, "Pushpak".

Except for the soundtrack, 'Mumbai Xpress' looks like 'Nayakan' or any of my better films, Kamal Haasan said at a news conference organized at the Sahara-One Motion Pictures office.

While the characters are funny, the film is not slapstick. None of the characters have to sweat it out to be funny. They are actually serious people.

"Mumbai Xpress" is a bilingual film that will be released mid-April in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.
