'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is confirmed to hit the screens on May 12. A massy song is currently being shot on Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh. The film's title track will be out on April 23. Mythri Movie Makers is going for a massive release. Ahead of the film's release, Tollywood is bracing up for a few movie releases on May 6. That's the only window available for small movies, considering that Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' is hitting the screens on April 29.

On May 6, three noteworthy releases are in the race:

'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam', starring Vishwak Sen and Rukshar Dhillon, is one of them. Its trailer suggests that the film is more a family drama than a usual rom-com. Directed by Vidhya Sagar Chintha, it is Sen's first release of the year.

Then there is Suma Kanakala's social rural drama 'Jayamma Panchayathi'. The film is indie-spirited and yet mainstream. Its trailer was recently released at the hands of Pawan Kalyan.

Ram Gopal Varma has confirmed that his film 'Maa Ishtam' (aka 'Dangerous') is also going to be released on May 6. Starring Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani, the film is a crime drama laced with a lesbian romance.
