Mukunda Murari
The Kannada film ‘Mukunda Murari’ is revised edition of ‘O My God’ blockbuster Hindi cinema that was based on ‘The Man who sued God’ Australian film that was known as ‘Kanjiram Versas Kanjiram’ in Marathi and then ‘Govinda Gopala’ in Telugu.
The specialty of this Kannada film is two top stars Upendra and Kichcha Sudeep taking on the roles of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The screenplay is also adjusted according to the image of two stars in ‘Mukunda Murari’. There is a song for Upendra and Sudeep characters in this film.
The hype is huge because this mesmerizing combination of Upendra and Sudeep. Mukunda sues the God in the court hall. All religious leaders join together to condemn this attitude. Mukunda although with support of Murari faces stiff opposition from society. Later he takes up the case by himself and the bitter argument in the court is what interesting factor. Mukunda hates God in the beginning and finally admits that there is God in this universe. The combination of Upendra and Sudeep is highpoint of this film.
