Mukta Arts turns 36 - Subhash Ghai coming up three films

Subhash Ghai’s production banner, Mukta Arts, celebrated its its 36th anniversary on October 24th 2013. On this occasion, the ace filmmaker as well as Mukta Arts’ chairman announced his new slate of films for the coming year - which includes three exciting projects.

‘Ishq De Maare’, combination of Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol , which will be directed by Neeraj Pathak and story by Subhash Ghai. A tale of bonded family of a father and two sons...but... ‘Ishq De Maare’.

‘Sarabjit’, a tale of an unforgettable Hero convicted and imprisoned across the border in Pakistan for 22 years and a heroic struggle of his sister Dalbir to be directed by Ishwar Singh Muchhal, Written by Rajesh Beri and the last a film, ‘Idiot Nalayak Useless’. Directed by Ken Ghosh and Written by Sumit Roy the film is about Today's me-first generation - whose dil chahey more...

Finally, ‘Kaanchi’, written and directed by Subhash Ghai, the story of young girl from the mountains and her fight against the country’s biggest powers is slated for release in early 2014. The film stars Misthi, Katik Aaryan, Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor in a villainous role, music by Ismaill Durbar and Salim Suleiman.

Speaking on this occasion, Ghai stated, "It’s a great feeling to know that my company Mukta Arts is announcing 3 wonderful and entertaining films on its 36th anniversary and is also marching ahead with many more great scripts it has been building up in the last 4years."

He also referred to their filmmaking institute Whistling Woods International media schools across various countries like UK and Nigeria - which also committed to take the company forward and to shine as glorious as its past.
