Actor Mukesh took charge as the chairman of the Sangeetha Nadaka Academy, yesterday. After offering his prayers to late actor Murali, Mukesh hoped that he would be able to interact positively with the geniuses of the industry. Mukesh remembered his wonderful rapport with the stalwarts of the filed, which will help him to get over his inhibitions as a fresher in the administration of such a big academy. Noted novelist, P Valsala also took charge as the President of the Academy.

Coming from the rich tradition of theatrical field in Kaalidasa Kalakendra, run by his father and latest artist O Madhavan, Mukesh had been successful to indulge in theater activities even while he was busy with his movies. Recently, Mukesh was the name behind the famous production ‘Chayamukhi’, which featured superstar Mohanlal on stage.
