The Ambani family weddings are renowned worldwide for their opulence and grandeur, but amidst the extravagant celebrations in Jamnagar, moments of genuine emotion and heartfelt sentiment emerged, transcending the spectacle.
One such touching moment occurred when Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of India's wealthiest family, expressed gratitude towards his mother Nita Ambani, father Mukesh, brother Akash, sister Isha, and other guests present at the event.
Reliance chairperson Mukesh Ambani was visibly moved as his son Anant spoke about his health struggles during his childhood at the pre-wedding event in Gujarat's Jamnagar. The three-day grand pre-wedding event of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant kicked off with fervor.
During his address, Anant thanked his parents for always making him feel special and went on to share about his health challenges in his early years. Mukesh Ambani, touched by his son's words, was seen getting emotional and teary-eyed.
"My family has always gone above and beyond to make me feel cherished. Although my life hasn't been without its challenges, with numerous health issues since childhood, my father and mother have never let me feel alone in my struggles. They have always been my pillars of strength," Anant said.
The couple began the pre-wedding festivities with a community feast, hosting thousands from neighbouring villages and treating them to Gujarati delicacies. The main event, spanning three days, saw over 1,000 guests, including some of the world's wealthiest individuals. Notable attendees included Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and top Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.
Pop star Rihanna made her first appearance in India, captivating the audience with her performance at the event. Rihanna's renditions of her hit songs such as 'Diamonds', 'Rude Boy', and 'Pour It Up' added to the enchantment of the celebration.
