Everyone was surprised when Mukesh accepted the role of Dulquer Salman`s father in Jomonte Suvisheshangal`. The actor in a recent interview opened up his mind about why he accepted the offer wholeheartedly.

Director Sathyan Anthikad was apprehensive whether Mukesh will accept the role of Dulquer`s father in the film. So Sathyan Anthikad directly visited him and told the story. After hearing the story Mukesh told him that all those who love acting won`t say no` to this offer as the story is so wonderful. He also said this is a family role which all actors dream of.

This film is the story of his character too. His character`s name is Vincent and is a self-made-man. The character Vincent conquered Thrissur town through his sheer hard work. He never scolds his son who is naughty and wastes time a lot. The story takes its journey through the son who says I a waste among my father`s children` and his father.
