Three friends. One can't talk, another can't see and the third one can't listen. A series of murders rocks the city. How they go about helping the cops crack the serial killings is the most interesting part of the comedy-thriller 'Mugguru Monagallu', whose trailer was released today.

Srinivas Reddy features in this film as a deaf person who always misreads what others tell him. Situational comedy is built around him teaming up with Deekshith Shetty (a dumb fellow) and Vennala Ramarao (a blind person).

It will be interesting to know how the three unlikely individuals, who don't lack the skill-set of trained cops, are drafted in to solve a tricky case. In the Hindi film 'Aankhein', which had Amitabh Bachchan in a manipulative role, a group of blind persons is enlisted to rob a bank. Does 'Mugguru Monagallu', too, have a character who manipulates the trio?

Starring also Twisha Sharma and Swetha Varma, the film has Raja Ravindra as a cop. Produced by Achut Ramarao P, the film is directed by Abhilash Reddy.

Edited by B Nageswara Reddy, its music is by Suresh Bobbili. Chinna has composed the BGM. Anji of 'PSV Garuda Vega' fame is its director of photography. Nani is its production designer.

The film's release date is yet to be announced.
